China’s products demand seen robust

Singapore—China’s apparent demand for refined oil products showed robust growth in July with jet/kerosene demand posting the steepest year-on-year rise of 11.3%, according to Platts calculations based on recently released final customs and production data from the government. China does not release official demand data. Platts calculates apparent products demand by adding domestic output from refineries to net imports.
