London—Austria’s OMV saw its oil and gas output in the first quarter of 2013 edge up to 302,000 b/d of oil equivalent, due to improved production performance in Yemen and Libya, the company said April 26. Production in the first three months of this year was 1% higher than the 299,000 boe/d of the same period a year ago but was just 1,000 boe/d higher compared with output of 301,000 boe/d in the fourth quarter of 2012.
