Caracas—The Curacao government detained three oil tankers on Thursday, which are owned by a unit of Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA, after a Dutch company filed a $55 million non-payment claim against the oil producer and refiner, a source that trades with PDVSA said. The source, who asked that he not be named, did not identify the company that requested the tankers be detained nor did he identify the tankers or their destinations. He said, however, that one tanker had been released.
