Total agrees to swap Norway assets with ExxonMobil

London—Total has agreed with ExxonMobil to swap a number of assets in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, which will see the French company increase its stake in the key Oseberg oil and gas field to 14.7% from 10%. As part of the asset swap deal, Total will give ExxonMobil its 5.6% stake in the PL089 license, its 2.5% stake in the Sygna field, its 2.8% interest in the Statfjord Ost field and its 6.2% stake in the Snorre field.
