Asian regulators fretting over new US trading rules

Singapore—Regulators from Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong are against proposed changes to derivatives trading rules by the US, saying they could increase the burden of compliance on the industry, fragment global markets and spark systemic risk, and have urged the US Commodity and Futures Trading Commission to review the plan.
