摘要

Singapore—Regulators from Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong are against proposed changes to derivatives trading rules by the US, saying they could increase the burden of compliance on the industry, fragment global markets and spark systemic risk, and have urged the US Commodity and Futures Trading Commission to review the plan. In a joint letter addressed to CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler and posted on the CFTC’s website on August 27, the financial regulators said they are concerned that some of the planned rules may hurt financial markets and institutions outside the US.
