Hanoi—First crude oil from a second wellhead platform at Vietnam’s offshore Te Giac Trang field is now expected on July 12, a month earlier than previously thought, PVC-MS, a subsidiary of state-owned PetroVietnam, said May 16. PVC-MS is the contractor for the construction and installation of the H4 wellhead platform. Production from the field, via the first H1 wellhead platform, began in August last year.
