Aminex looks for partner for Tanzania gas project

Cape Town—London-listed Aminex and its junior partner Solo Oil are looking to farm out 50% of their respective working interests in the Ruvuma Basin in Tanzania, in order to help fund the development of the vast gas resources they have found offshore. Aminex said on October 8 that it had hired FirstEnergy Capital to manage the farm-out process for its interest in the production sharing agreement (PSA) area, which is estimated to contain a total of 5.75 Tcf of gas.
