NYMEX crude oil dips on economic worries

New York-New York Mercantile Exchange October crude settled 43 cents lower at $86.02/b September 6, rising from an intra-day low of $83.58/b on a recovery in equities and ICE Brent futures. NYMEX October heating oil settled 1.28 cents higher at $3.0102/gal, while RBOB settled 1.70 cents lower at $2.8226/gal. At one point, RBOB led the way lower, bottoming out at $2.7763/gal.
