Large crude stock draw helps lift NYMEX

New York-The New York Mercantile Exchange February crude oil contract settled 92 cents higher at $90.30/b January 5, lifted by a US stock draw and a strong equities market. NYMEX February RBOB rose 3.11 cents to settle at $2.4451/gal, while heating oil climbed 3.57 cents to settle at $2.5422/gal. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up roughly 40 points at 11,732.13 at the time of the close of NYMEX open outcry.
