China's October oil demand climbs 11.8%

Singapore-China's apparent oil demand in October climbed 11.8% year on year to 37.88 million mt, or an average of 8.92 million b/d, due to a rise in refinery throughput and lower refined product exports, according to an analy- sis by Platts based on figures released by the government recently.
