Indonesian Medco Energi’s 2009 profit sinks, sales dow

Jakarta—Indonesian publicly traded oil and gas company Medco Energi Internasional has posted net income of $19.23 million for 2009, down 93% from $280.2 million the previous year, the company said March 30. The result for 2008 included a $246 million gain from the sale of Medco’s drilling unit Apexindo Pratama Duta.
