Bogota-In the latest upward revision of its oil production target, Colombia will be producing at least 1.2 million b/d of crude by the end of 2012, Ecopetrol downstream chief Pedro Rosales told Platts May 10. Rosales said the estimate is based on new analyses by the mining and energy ministry and by Ecopetrol, the state-controlled oil company responsible for about 82% of Colombia's oil output and reserves.
