PKN’s Lithuanian refinery attracts interest from buyers

Warsaw-Seven companies are reportedly looking at buying PKN Orlen’s loss-making 190,000 b/d refinery in Lithuania, it emerged October 20, much to the surprise of analysts who had predicted little interest in the sale of the facility. Poland’s Puls Biznesu daily quoted an unnamed source as saying the interested parties included “companies from Russia, but also from other countries.”
