OGX Parnaiba find can produce 120,000 Mcf/d

Rio de Janeiro-OGX Petroleo e Gas, MPX Energia and Petra Energia said November 24 that a natural gas discovery in a Parnai- ba Basin well in Brazil's Northeast block PN-T-68 announced November 17, can pro- duce at 3.4 million cubic meters/day (120,000 Mcf/d) of gas, more than 10% of what Brazil imports daily from Bolivia. More natural gas accumulations were found in the same well, OGX-22, in deeper and older geological structures, the Rio de Janeiro-based companies said in a statement.
