Osaka Gas eyes DQTs to cut LNG imports

Tokyo-Osaka Gas may exercise downward quantity tolerance clauses, or DQTs, to cut its long-term imports of LNG in the fiscal year ending March 2012, but the reduction is likely to be at the minimum level as its gas demand recovers steadily, Hiroshi Ozaki, president of Japan's second-largest city gas utility, told reporters in Tokyo November 18.
