London-The International Monetary Fund October 6 said it expected world crude oil prices to average $76.20/barrel in 2010 and $78.75/b in 2011. The latest forecasts, contained in the IMF’s World Economic Outlook, represent upward revisions of 93 cts/b and $1.25/b respectively to its projections in July, when the Fund cut its previous forecasts by $4.73/b and $4.50/b.
