Sinopec to complete Cezi Island crude storage in 2011

Singapore-Sinopec, China’s largest refiner, plans to complete construction of its 13.5 million cubic meter (84.91 million barrel) commercial crude storage tanks at Cezi Island in eastern China’s Zhejiang province in 2011, parent company China Petrochemical Corporation said in a web site statement August 9. The Yuan 13 billion ($1.92 billion) project, including 13 tanks each with a capacity of 100,000 cu m and one tank with a capacity of 50,000 cu m, are being installed and are expected to be completed in May 2011, Sinopec said.
