Japex to build satellite LNG terminal in Hokkaido

Tokyo—Japan Petroleum Exploration Company has decided to build a satellite LNG terminal at Yufutsu in Tomakomai city, Hokkaido, by the autumn of 2011 in a bid to stabilize its supplies to regional consumers in northern Japan during the country’s winter peak demand season, a Japex official said November 27.
