Norway's Snohvit LNG plant restart stalls

Oslo-Technical problems hampered the restart of Norway's Snohvit LNG export plant on November 8, extending downtime for the troubled facility which was shut three months ago to remedy an apparent design fault. The LNG plant, near Hammerfest on Melkoya island, had restarted production the day before and was ramping up LNG output before a fault in one plant's utilities forced Norway's Statoil to halt the restart, the operator said.
