New York—After eight consecutive months of negative returns, the S&P GSCI and Dow-Jones-AIG commodity indexes have gained ground, noted Merrill Lynch in a report released April 2, driven partially by returns in energy.In March, the S&P GSCI rose 4.51% and the DJ AIG 3.6%, said the report, which also cited gains in base metals and grains.
