Geneva-The Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company has awarded South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries a $1 billion engineering, procurement and construction deal for an integrated gas development plant on Das Island, the official WAM news agency reported December 29. "The $1 billion IGD project represents [the] ADGAS share of the overall mega offshore and onshore project which also involve ADMA-OPCO (Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company) and GASCO (Abu Dhabi Gas Industries)," WAM quoted ADGAS projects division manager, Bader al-Mohamadi.
