Brazil ethanol producer ETH Bioenergia plans IPO

New York-Brazilian ethanol producer ETH Bioenergia plans to conclude its due diligence of fellow ethanol producer Brenco by year's end, and is setting its sights on an initial public offering to finance future growth, ETH President Jose Carlos Grubisich said October 15. Grubisich said ETH Bioenergia and Brenco were in an "exclusive" period for the course of the due diligence, then "we will decide what to do," said Grubisich, speaking on the sidelines of a Brazil Energy conference in New York. ETH Bioenergia earlier announced that it and Brenco had signed a memorandum of understanding to study the merger of their assets and operations.
