Chevron joins Reliance in India refinery

New York-Chevron said April 12 it has paid 300 million for 5% ownership in a new Reliance Industries export refinery under construction in India,with rights to eventually own 29%.The giant 580,000 b/d Jamnagar refinery is expected to open in December 2008.It would be the world's sixth-largest on a single site,Chevron said.
