Weak refining margins behind Q3 profit plunge at Singapore Petroleum

Singapore-Singapore Petroleum Company saw its net profit for the third quarter plunge 78.3% to S23.2 million (14.7 million) from S106.87 million in the same period of 2005 on the back of poor refining margins and a mark-down in inventories, SPC said October 26.Profit was down 83% from the second quarter of the year.
