Australia's LNGL in supply pact with Iran

Sydney-Australia's Liquefied Natural Gas Limited has signed an agreement with National Iranian Oil Company for the proposed supply of up to 530,000 Mcf/d of gas to a planned LNG plant on Qeshm Island in Iran, LNGL said November 8 in a statement. The Qeshm plant is expected to produce up to 3.45 million mt/year of LNG and would be developed in three stages. The 1.15 million mt/year first phase is targeted to begin producing LNG early in 2010.
