The Ukrainian government May 13 allowed retailers to hike gasoline and diesel fuel prices throughout Ukraine amid fears fuel shortages may hit the country.The economy ministry issued a statement allowing retailers to increase the price of 95-RON gasoline by 7% to Hryv-nias 3.2 (us0.63)/liter from May 14.The ministry also set the price limit for both diesel and 92-RON gasoline at Hryvnias 2.99 (us0.59)/liter,up 8% and 1.4% respectively.
