Indonesia August crude output falls 0.7%

Jakarta-Indonesia's crude oil output edged down 0.7% to 819,473 b/d in August from 824,978 b/d in July, an official at upstream regulator BPMigas said September 10. Indonesia pumped 120,239 b/d of condensate last month, down 1.2% from 121,680 b/d a month earlier. Combined crude and condensate output fell 0.7% to 939,712 b/d in August from 946,658 b/d in July due to maintenance and technical problems in several oil and gas fields, including those operated by Chevron in central Sumatra, BP in Tangguh and state-owned Pertamina in offshore northwest Java, the official said.
