Trafigura loses gasoline in Malaysian terminal fire

Singapore-European oil trader Trafigura has lost about 17,000 cubic meters of 95 RON unleaded gasoline and 5,500 cu m of naphtha in a fire at leased tanks at Malaysia's Tan-jung Langsat oil terminal,a company official said August 19.The fire,which began late August 17,had"almost completely destroyed"a tank containing gasoline and was yet to be extinguished on the morning of August 19,Trafigura director Tom O'Brien told Platts.The cause of the fire is not yet known,he added.
