Hong Kong-Chinese state-controlled oil group Sinopec plans to build 800,000 cubic meters (5 million barrels) of crude oil storage capacity at the Huangmei transmission point on the Yizheng-Changling crude oil pipeline in central China,an official close to the project told Platts July 24.The 27 million mt/year (542,200 b/d) Yizheng-Changling pipeline runs from eastern Jiangsu province southward to central Hunan province and carries crude to five medium-sized Sinopec oil refineries along the Yangzi River:the 5.5 million mt/year (110,000 b/d) Anqing refinery;the 4 million mt/year (80,000 b/d) Jiujiang refinery;the 4 million mt/year Wuhan refinery;the 5.5 million mt/year Jingmen refinery;and the 5 million mt/year (100,000 b/d) Changling refinery.
