Crude steel output continues its downward trend

Average daily crude steel output fell by 1.7% m/m in October. In fact, output has registeredyear-on-year growth in only one month since September 2014 as the world's steelmakershave responded to ever-deteriorating price conditions in the finished steel market by reducingproduction.
