FTA's Carbon Reduction Awards for 2014

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has launched the Logistics Carbon Reduction Scheme (LCRS) Awards for 2014, developed to celebrate green leaders in the freight industry. The awards will recognise the efforts of individual LCRS members to reduce their carbon emissions from freight activity. Th categories are: 1. Best fuel-efficient operation (sponsored by Bridgestone) 2. Best use of alternative low carbon fuels and technologies (sponsored by Iveco) 3. Most innovative fleet management 4. Breakthrough in modal shift 5. Leadership in logistics carbon reduction The LCRS Awards will be presented at FTA's annual Logistics Carbon Reduction Conference, to be held in May 2014.
