Southeast Asia: Suppliers hope for October tenders

Potash exporters to Southeast Asia hope to hear of tenders being issued in Malaysia and Indonesia at some point in October, with business in both countries remaining seasonally slow. Suppliers are attempting to achieve future sales of $240/mt CFR for standard MOP to buyers in Malaysia and Indonesia but their success in doing so will not be determined until tenders are awarded. The most recent business for cargoes larger than 1-2,000 mt was occurring at around $210/mt CFR.
