Lukoil Eyes Argentina

Russian oil firm Lukoil has expressed interest in exploring for oil and gas in Argentina, and Argentina's government has invited Lukoil chief executive Vagit Alekperov to visit Buenos Aires. Julio De Vido, Argentina's planning minister, made the offer to Alekperov during a Monday meeting in Moscow, where De Vido and Argentinean Foreign Minister Hector Timerman are holding talks with Russian officials.
