Kuwait Seeks Incentives to Advance Indonesian Refinery Project

Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI) has asked for more incentives for its proposed project to expand the Balongan refinery in Indonesia with state firm Pertamina. Indonesia has said it will extend a tax holiday of between five and 10 years to developers of schemes that are capital- and laborintensive, but KPI is understood to have asked for more perks (IOD Aug.17’11).
