The trial of ex-Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko took a new twist last week when her Orange Revolution ally and former president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, testified against her in a Kiev court. Yushchenko, who reportedly refused to appear at the trial at the first time of asking, effectively concurred with the current Ukrainian government by laying the blame for Kiev's high gas bills at Ty -moshenko's door.
