Egypt Reopens Jordan Gas Tap

Jordan resumed gas shipments from Egypt late last week, but the countries remain in negotiations on price, an official at Jordan's National Electric Power Co. told International Oil Daily Monday. The deliveries resumed on Jun. 10 after being halted in April for the second time this year by a pipeline attack in Egypt's Sinai peninsula. The Jordanian press reported that full flows would not resume until the end of the month. Supplies to Israel also restarted last week (IOD Jun.9'11).
