The CEO and a key shareholder of top Russ- ian gas independent Novatek at the weekend concluded a deal to take full control of Russia's biggest petrochemicals firm, Sibur, while ruling out a merger of the two companies. Dellawood Holdings, a Cyprus-incorporat- ed investment vehicle in which Novatek boss Leonid Mikhelson holds 57.5% and Non-Ex- ecutive Director Gennady Timchenko 37.5%, announced it had acquired the rights to buy 49.98% of the shares in Sibur from Gazprombank. A price was not disclosed.
