Russia's Slavneft is pushing ahead with plans to raise the quality of its refined products to international standards. The oil company — in which TNK-BP and Gazprom Neft are equal partners — has upgraded its Yaroslavl refinery, enabling it to soon start making gaso- line meeting Euro-3 and Euro-4 standards. The company said Monday it started up a new 600,000 metric ton/yr isomerization unit worth 4.5 billion rubles ($149.4 mil- lion). The move is part of an upgrading pro- gram that envisages the construction of a gasoline hydrotreater this year.
