Mubadala Petroleum of Abu Dhabi, a state-owned company, has announced that the Nong Yao field in Thailand entered production from three wells on 17 June, adding that it would attain its expected production plateau of 10,000 barrels/day after additional production wells had been drilled. The crude produced will be sold on the domestic market to cover Thailand’s growing needs.
