Air Strikes against Oil Collection Points Controlled by the Islamic State in Syria

On 10, 12, 14 and 15 September, oil collection points controlled by the Islamic state near Abu Kamal and near Deir ez-Zor in Syria were targeted through air strikes (three near Abu Kamal and two near Deir ez-Zor) by the coalition led by the United States. These same four days, sixteen other strikes were carried out in Syria and 73 in Iraq, said the Department of Defense of the United States. They fall under the Inherent Resolve operation.
