PDO Awards Contract to MedcoEnergi for the Exploitation of 18 Marginal Fields in the South of the Country

摘要

Following an international tender,Petroleum Development Oman(PDO)has awarded a contract to the Indonesian company MedcoEnergi for the exploitation of a cluster of 18 small oilfields in the Nimr-Karim region,in the south of the country.The service-type contract provides for MedcoEnergi,which will have considerable autonomy in the conduct of operations,to step up output at the fields.But no quantitative target for future production has been made public.
