Berries of highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum) cultivars ('Berkeley,' 'Blueray,' 'Bluecrop,' 'Brigitta Blue,' 'Chandler,' 'Coville,' and 'Ozarkblue') were evaluated at ripening by two sensory analysis panels. The sensory analyses were performed by the National Organization of Fruit Tasters (ONA.Frut) in the Piemonte and Lombardia Regions, in Northern Italy. The training and evaluation methods of the quantitative descriptive analysis by two groups of 10 to 12 panellists were used. The sensory profiles of the examined cultivars were obtained.
