Braskem buys out Politeno for us111M

BRAZILIAN Petrochemicals giant Braskem has acquired the remaining shares of polyethylene (PE) producer Politeno. Braskem will pay us111.3 million to acquire the stake owned by Suzano Petroquimica (35%) and of Japanese firms Sumitomo (20%) and Itochu (10%).
