Akzo Nobel turns to Canada

AKZO NOBEL has agreed to buy Canadian coatings company Sico for Cus295 million (us254 million). Akzo Nobel,the worlds largest coatings manufacturer,said the offer of Cus20 per share had been accepted by Sico's two largest shareholders,which together own around 34% of the company.
