Peculiarities of meadows in the subtaiga subzone of the West Siberian Plain resulting from their previous agricultural use

Long fallow and natural meadows in the subtaiga subzone of the West Siberian Plain have been compared based on the occurrence and activity of species. It has been demonstrated that the floristic composition of grass communities depends on their previous agricultural use. Groups of differentiating species in the long fallow and natural meadows have been determined. At the same time, species of another group have shown similar occurrence and activity in all variants of meadow communities. This proves the unity of meadow vegetation along the subtaiga subzone of the West Siberian Plain.
