Relevance of chiral technologies to fine chemicals industry stressed

The relevance of chiral technologies - asymmetric synthesis, biocatalysis, resolution and chiral separations - for the fine chemicals industry, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and flavours & fragrances - were stressed by an impressive array of speakers from India and abroad at the second 'Chiral India 2013' conference organized in Mumbai on November 14-15, 2013. The event was attended bynearly 100 delegates - mostly practitioners of chiral chemistry in the fine chemicals industry.
