Mixed xylene, Oxo-alcohols shoot up; Fibre intermediates down

The week under review saw rise in prices of mixed xylene and oxo-alco-hols, while those of fibre intermediates, phenol and acetone ruled lower than previously reported. The basic rate of Toluene (Reliance) was down marginally by Rs. 0.50 and quoted at Rs. 68 (basic) in bulk, while the rate for packed material ruled at Rs. 70.50 (basic). BPCL material was quoted Rs. 0.35 lower at Rs. 64.85 (basic) for bulk.
