Dow raises prices of glycol ethers products

Dow Europe GmbH will raise prices in Europe effective April 1,2009,or as contracts allow,for products in the glycol ethers portfolio by Euro 50 to Euro 70 per ton dependent upon grade."The rapid decline in price has left margins at unsustainable levels.We must improve our margins,so we can afford to compete for raw materials and make the products our customers need,"said Mr.Martin Sutcliffe,Global Business Director,Glycol Ethers.
