摘要

Structure, hardness and wear resistance of two groups of iron- base high-carbon high-vanadium alloys with a different chromium content (5...7 and 14...17 %) are considered. Matenals with a martensitic structure and a small amount of retained austenite, as well as with dispersed uniformly distributed vanadium carbides and carbides of the Me{sub}23C{sub}6 type, were found to have the highest wear resistance under the abrasive wear conditions for the high-carbon high-vanadium alloys.
