摘要

Low-loss transmission properties were obtained in visible wavelength bands by improving the fabricating parameters of the flowing coating method in the fabrication of cyclic olefin polymer (COP)-coated silver hollow glass fibers for infrared laser light. Delivery properties were evaluated by using pilot beams of visible laser light (red and green light). The brightness of the output visible light is proved to be sufficient even when the 2 m-long, 1 mm or 700 μm-bore size fibers were bent to the angle of 3600.
